BAs Matt Craig, Spencer Dearth, Dave Licht, Dave Vrona, and former BA now retired Dave Wolf and Organizer Ashley Cerzullo made the rounds of the various agencies delivering Christmas Joy.

    The Teamsters Local 231 2024 holiday party was a great success with more than 100 people in attendance! Over $900.00 was raised for the Skagit Valley Neighbors in Need and Bellingham food bank. The VERY generous members brought in piles of toys that were distributed to the local Toys for Tots charity. “I am always amazed by the generosity of the Teamster Brothers and Sisters at Local 231.

    Merger Ballot Clarifications

    Dear Members, when the election committee mailed out the merger ballots the return by date was not included with the instructions. The return by date is December 27, 2024. This means we must receive all ballots by December 27th. We apologize for any confusion. Also, there was already a vote and if the merger is approved, the new members will be immediately active in the defense fund.

    Disaster Relief II

    As disaster relief efforts continued after Hurricanes Helena and Milton, Local 776 was again contacted to provide transport for a shipment of humanitarian aid to the affected region. Pam Hess from the PA Turnpike Commission contacted the Local Union after they collected 15 skids of goods and food for the people of North Carolina.
